Jeffrey Jocelyn Ndong Barthson (born April 12, 1983), known by his artist name Bah’Ndong, is an Afrobeat, Afropop and Afrofusion rap artist of African origin,
precisely from Cameroon, based in Mainz, Germany. Born and raised in Yaoundé, he attended Saint Joseph’s Bilingual Primary, Saint Bede’s Secondary, Bilingual High School Yaoundé, then the Universityof Buea. He then headed for graduate studies in Belgium, and later settled in Germany,
Bah’Ndong started playing music as a child andturned semi-professional in during his universityyears. He later joined a group called Madhouse Matadors in 2012/2013 in Germany, after leaving his studies in
Belgium. Together, they produced several singles before Bah’Ndong went solo. He collaborated with many artists and DJS, producing many songs, some of them on SoundCloud.com/BahNdong, for his debut studio album “Rebelations 101”
After signing with record label BGC Melody, he released his second studio album in November 2018, titled “Rebelations 2.1”, which can be found in all online stores. Bah’Ndong brings to mind artists like
Mos Def, Common, and Sarkodie (as described by his peers). He enjoys playing video games, basketball,and watching movies. His favorite football team is
FC Barcelona. He cannot go a week without a dish of khati khati, ndole or eru. A cup of smoothies and fruit every day won’t hurt him, And don’t forget, he’s very single.
Bah’Ndong ends the year 2020 very strong with thesurprise release of a single “Just In Time” on the occasion of the American elections and the #BlackLivesMatter movement, and in protest against
the situations of violence in Cameroon and Nigeria #EndAnglophone Violence and #EndSars. Then follows the release on November 6th of a new single “La Vibe”, leading straight to the launch of hislong-awaited new album, “Rebelations 33, Vol. 1”- the first part of a collection of 33 songs that willbe released to the market throughout the next year.
