TYPES OF MUSIC  COLLABORATION

-

Buga “ by Kizz Daniel featuring Tekno has been trending for weeks now . Many people have been wondering what Tekno did on the song since Kizz Daniel has been the one singing all through .  We have different types of music collaboration , here are some đź‘‡

Arrangement. This refers to when you hire someone to create a fresh arrangement of a song or being the arranger. Arrangement  refers to the flow of a song from start to finish. It has sections , like an intro, verse, buildup, chorus, breakdown, drop, and outro. You might have a song but want it to be perfect . You call someone to come work on the Arrangement of the song so everything becomes perfect . The person won’t sing with you but he collaborated with you .

Co-writes. When two or more

songwriters get together to

collaborate on a song. When you go through some Albums, the names of those who took part in writing it are listed . That’s collaboration. Many of us here think collaboration is only when an artiste drops a verse on your song .

Guest appearances. When one

artist appears on another’s album to

sing or play an instrument. This is the most common type of collaboration we have here .

Production. Any time you’re working

with an engineer or producer, there

is a collaborative relationship.

Sessions. When you hire other

musicians to play on your album or

accompany you live.

There are many other types of music collaboration and we will talk about it next week .
