Kum Kingsley Mua known by pseudo KKing Kum AKA OMOLION ( Son of a lion ), born in Wum, is a Cameroonian afrobeats singer, songwriter and rapper.
The fast rising Cameroonian artist grew up in Kumba ( South West ) where he started singing at an early age with the aid of Walkman, and local recording means with cassette tapes.
He moved to Nigeria and started doing music professionally working in the of R2K in Delta state and he at the end of the year bagged an award as fast rising artist 2018.
He released a street gospel track ‘YOUR GRACE’ in collaboration with the Nigerian rapper HK which became a Hit and bagged him another award, making him the only Cameroonian to have received an award in Nigeria.
He came back to Cameroon in 2019 and released another track Amanda which is still making waves till date.
He has performed alongside great Cameroonian acts in the likes of KOC, Stanley Enow, Tenor, Moustik Le Charismatic, Mr. Leo, Daphné etc. KKING KUM has also succeeded to go for tours in other countries such as Nigeria and South Africa.
In 2020, he featured on a KOC track « Ghana Must Go » alongside Cleo Grae, KiKOH, and Banye, a song that will stand the taste of time.
Now, after being signed to OTIA Production, he dropped an electrifying street anthem RECEVEZ in collaboration with KO-C, and the song is a blend of makossa, afrobeats, Ndombolo.
KKING KUM continued with a mbolé smash hit which became an anthem in the streets of Cameroon, “On a pas les pièces” topping the playlist of all the clubs at the moment.
Not to forget the sensational hit song he made with the mbole artist Happy D’efoulan titled “Yayato” which as soon as it came out, each Cameroonian could find themselves in it that’s because of the message it sent across.
KKING KUM as always placed the bar high as he plans to release something which Cameroonians have never heard nor seen a sensational master piece of art song titled “No wahala” which brought him into collaboration with legendary Nigerian video Director based in South Africa Godfather. Not to forget the fact that, he was also on a tour while in South Africa creating never seen performances precisely Johannesburg
